What is the salt kingdom session?

Our Salt Kingdom SEND sessions offer a unique and calming environment where children can play, relax, and benefit from the therapeutic properties of salt therapy. These sessions take place in a dedicated salt room, where an infused salt machine helps to improve breathing, support relaxation, and even aid with common conditions like colds and sleep difficulties.

The play area is a lovely space which has sensory resources added with the SEND children in mind, ensuring it is safe, welcoming, and suited to their needs. With a variety of toys and activities available, children are free to explore and engage at their own pace. The smaller group sizes keep the environment calm, allowing children to feel comfortable and at ease while they play.

During the session, children can enjoy sensory play, which supports their fine motor development and encourages curiosity. The space is set up to cater to a range of sensory needs, providing different textures and materials for children to explore. This not only makes the session fun but also promotes sensory integration in a gentle and relaxed manner.

Parents and carers can unwind in the salt room while their children play, knowing that I am there to support and supervise. With over 16 years of experience in early years and a DBS check, I ensure that the sessions are safe, inclusive, and engaging for all children.

 

What to wear during this session

 

We recommend to wear light coloured clothing as playing in the salt can make clothes have salt on.

Shoes do need to be removed or shoes protectors are provided to wear.

This session is £36 for one adult and one child, additional adults or children £20 each

This session is limited to 3 children per session.
