​What is a Trainmaster Session?

 

Our Trainmaster SEND sessions are designed to provide a fun, structured, and inclusive environment where children can explore their love for trains in a calm and supportive setting. These sessions are perfect for children who enjoy imaginative play and transport-themed activities, with the added benefit of being tailored to their individual needs.

The session is centred around an extensive train track setup that encourages children to get hands-on with trains, stations, and various track accessories. Whether they prefer to build, watch the trains go around, or role-play with their peers, there’s something for everyone. The smaller group sizes ensure that children can play at their own pace, allowing them to enjoy the session without feeling overwhelmed.

To make the experience even more engaging, the session includes an area with cars and a car ramp and some different train-related materials and accessories. Theres also a sensory area for babies and children to regulate creating an additional sensory element to the play. Children can explore textures, colours, and shapes as they move the trains around, fostering fine motor development and encouraging creativity.

Each session is designed to be flexible, allowing children to move freely between activities and immerse themselves in the world of trains in a way that feels comfortable to them. Whether it’s connecting tracks, navigating tunnels, or making the trains go as fast or slow as they like, the focus is on promoting imaginative play and engagement in a safe and relaxed environment.

The Trainmaster SEND sessions provide an excellent opportunity for children to socialise, problem-solve, and express their creativity, all while having fun with one of their favourite interests—trains!

We say children aged 9 and under can book to come and explore the trains galore environment!
